Terms of Service

Overview

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the use of the Wrist Works website, products, and services. By accessing our website or engaging with Wrist Works, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions.

Throughout these Terms, “Wrist Works”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Wrist Works Pty Ltd.

Product Availability

All watches listed by Wrist Works are subject to availability at the time of enquiry or purchase confirmation.

Submitting an enquiry, checkout request, waitlist submission, or payment request does not constitute confirmation of purchase. Orders are only confirmed once availability has been verified and payment has been received and accepted by Wrist Works.

We reserve the right to cancel or decline any order prior to shipment.

Authenticity Guarantee

All watches sold by Wrist Works undergo an authenticity verification process prior to sale.

Where applicable, watches may include original boxes, papers, accessories, or accompanying documentation as specified within the product listing.

Wrist Works does not manufacture any watches sold and is not an authorised dealer of the brands represented unless explicitly stated.

Product Condition

As many watches sold by Wrist Works are pre-owned, vintage, or collector pieces, minor signs of wear may be present.

We make every effort to accurately photograph and describe the condition of each watch. However, slight variations in colour, condition, or appearance may occur between photography and in-person viewing.

Vintage and pre-owned watches may not meet original factory water resistance specifications. Wrist Works does not guarantee water resistance unless explicitly stated.

Pricing

All pricing displayed on the Wrist Works website is listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) unless otherwise stated.

Prices are subject to change without notice due to market fluctuations, supplier pricing, currency movements, or availability.

All pricing is fixed and non-negotiable unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Payment

Accepted payment methods will be displayed during checkout or communicated directly by our team.

Orders will only be dispatched once payment has been cleared and confirmed.

For selected transactions, Wrist Works may require identity verification prior to shipment.

Cash on Delivery services, where offered, may require a non-refundable security deposit prior to dispatch.

Shipping & Delivery

Wrist Works primarily uses FedEx Overnight for Australia-wide deliveries, with DHL Express utilised where required for selected domestic shipments.

All watches are securely packaged and fully insured whilst in transit under our Jeweller’s Block insurance policy.

Delivery timeframes are estimates only and may vary depending on location, carrier delays, or unforeseen circumstances.

Risk passes to the purchaser upon confirmed delivery.

Trade-Ins & Valuations

Trade-in valuations provided by Wrist Works are estimates only and may be adjusted following physical inspection, market movements, or condition assessment.

All trade offers are subject to final approval by Wrist Works.

Watch Sourcing & Waitlists

Submitting a watch request or joining a waitlist does not guarantee allocation, sourcing success, or future availability.

Wrist Works will make reasonable efforts to source requested watches through our dealer network and industry contacts.

Estimated sourcing timeframes, where provided, are indicative only.

Consignment Terms

Commission

Consignment commission rates are agreed upon in writing prior to commencement of the consignment arrangement.

Insurance

Whilst in the possession of Wrist Works, consigned watches are covered under our stock insurance policy against theft, fire, and other insured events.

Consignment Period

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the standard consignment period is 90 days.

Following the expiry of the consignment period, the consignor may request the return of the watch or agree to extend the arrangement.

Ownership & Authority

By consigning a watch with Wrist Works, you confirm that:

  • You are the legal owner of the watch;

  • The watch is authentic to the best of your knowledge;

  • The watch is free from financial encumbrances or ownership disputes;

  • You have full authority to consign and sell the watch.

Sale Authority

Once a sale price has been agreed upon between both parties, Wrist Works may market and offer the watch for sale during the agreed consignment period.

Payment Of Proceeds

Once a consigned watch has been sold and funds have cleared, payment of proceeds will be made to the consignor within 48 hours, less the agreed commission and any approved expenses.

Intellectual Property

All content displayed on the Wrist Works website, including logos, branding, photography, text, graphics, and media, remains the intellectual property of Wrist Works and may not be reproduced without written permission.

Limitation Of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wrist Works shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the use of our website, products, or services.

Nothing within these Terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia. Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia.

Updates To Terms

Wrist Works reserves the right to update or amend these Terms at any time without prior notice.

Continued use of our website or services constitutes acceptance of any updated Terms.
